Photos are of the fully built and painted unit. Units have been lightly weathered.
The current kits have been totally retooled as of a few months ago. All major components have new molds made and the masters have been strengthened where needed.
The boxes have a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of material added (on the inside) compared to the original, all the thinner components and possible break areas in the pivot arms and lamp handle have steel rod cast inside. The head has been thickened at the bottom at the 'yoke' and steel washers are cast inside at the holes for the pivot screw.
I created stamping dies for the brackets so they are all the same from here on out. So if anyone is wondering why the last batch of lamps has taken so long to come out that's why.
