This is a resin casting (obviously).
Mine differs from the actual production pistol in a couple ways.
1) It has a spring loaded trigger. I had to cut a hole through the resin of the
top of the grip section (when the slide was removed) and custom fit a casting
of the 5-7 trigger in there. It works pretty well.
2) There Isn't a drop of glue or epoxy on my pistol. Unlike the screen used (and real steel)
I have what looks like a windage adjustment screw on the rear sight. This is in fact a
screw that bolts the slide to the grip frame. The grenade launcher section is also held
in place by 2 thin screws drilled down through the mount rail from inside.
3) Grip paint. The series guns had several layers of different shades of brown, I only had access
to the one type. It was kind of tacky feeling afterwards (so were the selector levers),
so I gave it a dusting of clear semi-matte sprat to seal it in.
Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The only thing that would be better was if it
was an accurate airsoft version. Or had more moving parts.
And we have pics...
